DEBORAH POLKINGHORN-SUTA
Deborah Šuta has quickly become one of the most entertaining, talented, and sought after Mezzo and now, Dramatic/Spinto voices. Ms. Šuta is known for her roles of Carmen, Cherubino, Grimgerde, Suzuki, Prince Orlofsky, Dorabella and many others on the operatic stage. She delights mastering Oratorio of Brahms, Verdi, Duruflé, Vivaldi, Mendelssohn, and other composers. Her vocal and acting ability thrive on the Pops and Musical Theater stage and has been seen as Carrie (Carousel), Baker’s Wife (Into the Woods) and principle characters in A Very Diva Christmas, Godspell, and numerous other shows, reviews and recitals. She represents her various cultural backgrounds by cantoring at Jewish Temples, Catholic, Anglican and Protestant Churches. Ms. Šuta is completing her Ph.D. in Music Education and teaches at University of South Florida.
